Super Bowl XLVIII Gameday Chatter Thread| 2/2/14

Have they named the MVP yet? I'm for Percy. It's gonna be fing Wilson though. Piling up big stats with the game put away.

So what made Strahan qualified to do this? Bradshaw not being there?

That trophy does look kind of gross by the time it makes it up there.

I can't imagine touching that after so many people have. Fucking nasty.

I don't think this really hurts Peyton's legacy a whole lot. He's been to 3 super bowls. He won 1. He has gaudy regular season stats. Elway was 2-3 in super bowls. Marino was 0-1. Staubach was 2-2. Even Brady is 3-2 or whatever. It's not the end of the world.

Brady is the best QB of this era. Even if Peyton won today I'd think that. Peyton is probably 2nd.

But Brady winning 3 SBs is what puts him over the hump. Say Vinatieri misses two FGs and and Brady only wins one SB...then what?

If Staubach wins 4-0 and Bradshaw goes 2-2, Staubach becomes Top 3 QB all time.

Well, in that case, Emmitt should be the next one to present the Lombardi.

I can't believe pro athletes still get vehicles as an award, as if it is 1965 and they all have jobs in the offseason to make ends meet.

Getting the stank finger from Kelly Ripa

Sounds legit.

I just wonder what they do with them. Give them to family?

At least in Smith's case, he is so nondescript he might actually keep the truck and not give it to his retarded cousin.

The good thing is Jerry has to learn how to build a team from this. No, not a pass rush, but a Harvin clone.

I suppose I should add that he can speak the English language in an articulate manner. He also played in the area.

:lol

How is Peyton taking it right now, Coach Fox?

What the fuck? Why isn't he out there facing the music?
