Either the CBs have just completely shit the bed in the offseason losing the ability to track the ball in the air, or we just have had terrible luck on these bombs away plays. The LBers aren’t helping either. Has to be some of the worst tackling, slowest group I’ve ever seen.
I honestly don't think Diggs and Bland are 100%. Diggs came back to fast and even Bland last night was hampered.

I agree, so I think it's realistic that we get better CB play as the season goes on, but I don't know what we're going to do about Safety or LB.

I admittedly didn't focus on it but I noticed maybe 2 or 3 pressures. He didn't seem to be in the backfield all game or affect things much. No way he had 10.
That's why pressures are a bullshit stat. Who even determines what exactly qualifies for one anyway?

I’m not sure what counts as a pressure but while watching, anytime Dak was in trouble, I looked for #1 and only saw him a few times.

Speaking on that. It was pretty amazing how Dak seemed to sense Micah taking a swipe at the ball. He pulled it down just in time.

I would like to see video of these pressures.

Mike Fisher talked about that this morning. He had read that there were 8. Said he was at the game taking notes and didn’t see them.
I saw a few where Dak had to get the ball out quick, but not 8, and certainly not double digits.

I still think there should be a 2nd OT where the first team to score wins.
Then you kind of end up with the same problem, that a coin flip decides the winner a majority of the time.

Currently: The 10 minute OT period allows the first team to use almost any amount of clock as a counter-balance to the second team being able to go for it on 4th down every set of downs.

Proposal: Change to 15 minute OT. Downside-- if both kicking and receiving teams score equally, the new kickoff rules would give the kicking team a big advantage to win with a FG on their second drive.

That said, I do prefer a 15 minute period vs a second OT. It allows for the possibility of multiple punts.
