"He was awesome"?

How many points would we have scored if he weren't so awesome? Fifty? Sixty?
It's why the "pressure" stat is so meaningless or at the very least is misleading.

Dallas as a team had a bunch of pressures week 1, but none that actually affected the game. You wouldn't know by that stat though, which is sad for a stat with that name.

Micah had a single significant play-- a tackle that could have been any defender making a tackle and not one that cost 40+ million of the salary cap.

On the other hand the pressures we had against the Packers actually did have a big impact. I know hard to believe while giving up 40 points. But when we were able to pressure Love he was statistically horrific. We just didn't do it consistently enough. That and our coverage just needs to be better and actually force the QB to go through their progressions. Love didn't really have to look long to find a guy open. So most of our pressures actually came from immediately beating the O-line.

A pressure is meaningless to me. Now if a pressure had a time limit on it, that would mean something. Like say a pressure was making contact with the QB within 2 seconds of the ball being snapped. But from my understanding if a QB holds the ball for 4 seconds and then throws it as the rush finally gets there, it is still called a pressure. That's just stupid to me. Those two things are not the same. Dak wasn't under pressure against the Packers at all. But he was sitting back in the pocket reading and processing and finding the open man. It wasn't always his first read.

Another scrub, and playing injured on top of it.
Not sure he is really injured anymore. He should have had plenty of time to heal up. But it doesn't really change the scrub status. Right now I'm not sure he is any different than Elam, Bridges or Steward for example. Basically bottom of the roster barrel corners.

Watching the Jets and Dolphins since I have only caught blips of the Jets.

Tootie is running around like a kid out there.
