With a late first I'd be open to it. Or the second round which seems like a great place to get a stud LBer. I'm not taking one top 20 but there are options.
The GB pick will be a prime spot for one of those guys I think, although I could see both of our picks ending up in like the 17-24ish range, which would make sense either way.

Is it just me, but after watching Micah those years and last night it almost feels like he'd rather have 3 sacks than his team win the game. I know it's a stretch, but just watching him on the sidelines that's always been my perception.

That should have been a 0 sack night for him. Dak was definitely past the line of scrimmage. I feel like they bullshit gave him the sack as some sort of a statement about the trade.

The running game in particular is impressive given the talent, or lack thereof, and I attribute it mostly to the coaching (Adams and Riley primarily).

I also think Schottenheimer has a pretty good feel for the offensive design, he does a good job mixing up the play-calling, he throws a few wrinkles in without it feeling forced (Lamb running play vs. the Bears aside) and does a good job of incorporating the RB's into the passing game.

It's about the only reason for optimism moving forward.
The true test of Schotty's skill will be measured as improvement barring injuries. If he's a really good coach, this offensive unit will be among the best in the league by year's end.

Pray for the defense, but there we're really starting at the bottom.

At least the team seems passionate about wanting to improve, but we may be too stupid or not good enough at teaching to improve much. Revel and Bland's continued recovery should help, but we need 1-2 our 2nd round pass rushers to make a leap.

Do you all think that was a TD saving tackle as Collinsworth said? There were still a couple guys to get through.

No.

Dak even said in his PC last night that he knew he wasn't going to score, he was just trying to get as much as he could.

I won my PrizePicks lineup because of that sack, so I wasn't that upset.

Dak would have had to run through 1 guy. The other defender had turned and was going to wrong direction. I think there was a good chance Dak falls forward for the TD. But it's also possible it ends just short. But then you have third and goal from the 1. Maybe we run it in, maybe we go for it on fourth.

One of their LB's was on like the 2 and would've stopped him most likely, we just would've been a bit closer to where 3rd down might've been a run.

I was shocked how minimal impact he had. Granted we chipped him a ton. But on the same note, Rashaan Gary had zero impact.
Yeah, I fully expected him to have at least three sacks, probably more.

There were so many good things from last night. Shame it had to end in a stupid tie.

Good point. Williams a couple times would've been a TD.

But the broadcast made it sound like he saved an easy TD for Dak on that play.

The OL has held up (or been schemed around in the case of the OT's) against some very good pass rushing groups.

Burns/Carter/Thibodeaux/Lawrence with the Giants and now Parsons/Gary/Wyatt with the Packers, although Wyatt went out around halftime. You aren't going to see many pass rush groups better than that.

If only our God forsaken defense could somehow manage to hold somebody to under 30 points.
