Who are you going to replace them with? Please note that you have to choose from the Dollar General bin because these shits wont spend unless its someone that they draft.

And this is the depressing part (I mean, if I still cared enough). It doesn't matter how much money they have available, they won't address their deficits in meaningful ways.

The fear of losing Aubrey will be too much to bear.

You all know Jerry is probably itching to trade his new picks for shiny turds.

It's a waste of resources in the context of how they do business. Getting a guy with 2 years left on his deal, who we'd have to resign for 9 figures is not an ideal scenario. I would trade down with all 4 number 1s, if possible and acquire a bevy of picks. Since they hate paying players so much, wouldn't it be better to have more guys on rookie deals? We're clearly not going to spend in free agency. If the draft is the only significant way they want to build a team, then they need to be completely committed. And yes, I know none of this will ever happen.

Why would an NFL team trade a proven player for a "maybe" at 28 to 32?

I agree- theyd never do it- but this team needs to turn those 1st’s into four 2’s…go after your OG and meat and potatoes guys that way. The Cowboys are a solid 7-8 guys away from competing
