Deal would have made sense for like two firsts, a second, two thirds and a few late round picks along with the DT. Maybe throw em back like a 5th.

But instead we got raped. We get to watch Micah be the next Lawrence Taylor now and GB to win many championships for the next decade.

Let's not get crazy. He wasn't LT here and he won't be there.

A player in his prime for simply two firsts at the end of the first and an okay player is pretty much malpractice.

What would have been fair compensation from the Packers? Two 1's, a 2 and a 3?
Two 1’s, a 3rd, and a conditional 5th was the market established by Khalil Mack when the Raiders traded him to the Bears.

And those are Chicago picks, I.e. middle of the first round at the lowest.

Ignoring the difference between Chicago and Green Bay for a moment, Dallas is saying Kenny Clark is worth a very solid 3rd round pick, and that’s just not true, though Clark will help this team without a doubt.

Well now its actually possible because we’ll have whatever the team was prepared to commit to Parsons in cap space

A. It was always possible. The cap is a joke that we should be treating as such.

B. The point is they have the same agent. Surely Jerry will be butthurt over this.

Honestly, any DT would help.

And he is under contract for the next three years.

Goof likes that.
will kick him after this next season at the latest.

I think Micah’s attitude rubbed the Cowboys the wrong way on top of whatever stance his agent took, to be frank. The training table was the last straw. They want people who want to be Cowboys leaders vs. folks who want the most money no matter what.

I’m not giving Dallas a pass for fumbling this whole thing because they did, big time, starting late last year when they didn’t take care of it before all the pass rushers reset the market.

But Micah started making things worse by arguing his case via social media. Jerry despises nothing more than that— he thinks of it as ‘disloyalty.’

$46 mil per for a guy who disappears in big games. This absurd contract would have strangled our cap for years.
Apparently I'm one of the few who isn't pissed about it. Yeah, we should've got more in the deal. But I'll take it anyway
