I still say that the biggest reason is what Tom and Tex did, but sure, Jimmy gave them a massive boost also.

I think its as simple as he wasnt getting any credit for the 90s run. Its why he probably views the last super bowl as the best one because Jimmy couldn't get the credit (in his mind). Its why he is so stubborn to try and push an agenda that doesnt work and why Garrett stayed so long.
