You’re off on your facts a bit. He spent 5 years in college, not 6. He RS a year while competing as a QB. Once he moved to RB, he had 1 injury year, 1 year as RB2 and then 2 years as a starter. With the exception of wasting time at QB, that’s a somewhat normal progression for your typical college back.6th year senior. Finally caught on in years 5 and 6. Looks like he could be a liability in pass pro and is projected as part of a shared backfield. Described as quick not fast. Not sure he will have nearly the same results against nfl talent.
What isn’t normal was his production as a starter, his balance and vision to find and hit the hole. And I don’t know what his 40 time is, but his game speed is very good and noticeable on tape. You won’t find a more complete runner in this draft.
