Green is rising. He’s a good athlete who is absolutely relentless on the field. He measured out at a decent size and the only knock is that his arms are a bit short. I think he’ll be in the mix around 12 before all is said and done.

Yea he's already there for me, if he blazes a 4.5-4.6 40 it stamps it for me.

Which means these dummies will probably wait too long on the "we can get one later" theory.

Haven't paid attention or looked into it, but anyone know how much draft input Eberflus had at Chicago or even Indy, and if they drafted well on defense there? Jerry always likes to give his new coaches a lot of input the first year or two.

RB and DT depth in this draft are great. I've been saying that. And given our depth chart, I'd be ok if we took two of each. We have zero RBs and DTs under contract for next year. (If you ignore Mazi and Vaughn)

This is very true but we need to keep Osa and draft one.

Osa, Mazi, a top 3 pick and another JAG who can help stuff the run like Andrew Billings would be fine.

The worst thing that can happen is letting Osa go because they think they can replace him in the 3rd round.

Definitely. Instead of saying, we'll just wait a couple of rounds because there will still be decent players there, why not draft heavier in a year where the talent is there? I'd take one early and then one in a later round also.

I don't think we have a "huge need", assuming we re-sign Lewis, but I'd be fine taking Johnson if he falls as a BPA play, although I wouldn't take him over Jeanty.

He's another guy the Combine will be big for, if he tests similarly to Surtain at his size he probably won't drop to us.

Yeah if he is a sub 4.5 guy he will be just fine. And if he isn't, I don't think I want him at 12. So kind of damned either way.

51. Jordan Burch
53. Nic Scourton

The Cowboys’ all-in mantra is back, baby. Jerry Jones isn’t going to sit on his hands and watch the NFC East run away from him

I laughed.
I have never heard of this guy. And that was the writer showing he is an idiot.

We always slap lipstick on the pig and claim we're improving the defense

I love adding a great CB, but not without first addressing the rot that is DT. And if we commit big $$ to a non-run defender like Odighizuwa we'll absolutely need to double down on an interior DL rotation.

It's been 30 years since we were good here, fix this FFS!

McMillen, Jeanty
Walter Nolen (unless his arms are too short)
Luther Burden 3 if he runs 4.4

Plus we are about to run a lot of zone defense. You don't draft zone corners in the first round. It's a well known fact.
