Fuck Moore.. if they hire him I won’t watch another game from that sorry franchise
This is how I view Stephen’s actions... He is protecting his inheritance so that when deddy is out of the picture, he can turn a financially healthy organization over to a real general manager and then sit back and bask in the glow of multiple Super Bowls.Yea and this is why I think the "nothing will change even when Jerry's gone" bit is off, even if it's half true.
Stephen is a chucklefuck and brings his own brand of nonsense, but at the very least I don't see him inserting himself like Jerry does unless someone asks him to do something expensive in FA.
But they've already been cheap in FA for 10 years, it's not like he can get much cheaper, but at the very least I think the culture around the team might settle down some when Jerry is gone.
I wouldn't be shocked if they hired a GM, I'm sure they'd still be cheap but I wouldn't be surprised if Stephen didn't want to listen to the BS. It'd be way easier to hide his cheap shit behind "doing things right" with a GM.This is how I view Stephen’s actions... McClay would be the GM I'd imagine, or he'd leave.I wouldn't be shocked if they hired a GM, I'm sure they'd still be cheap but I wouldn't be surprised if Stephen didn't want to listen to the BS. It'd be way easier to hide his cheap shit behind "doing things right" with a GM.
Yea if he's still doing it in 5-7 years or however long it takes this old asshole to dieMcClay would be the GM I'd imagine, or he'd leave.
That or Witten. He can already see the outrage, look at this unqualified white friend of Jerry being picked over these far more qualified minority candidates. Jerry is going to want to make it look like he gave multiple minority candidates a chance.Yep, especially one like Moore who spent years with the organization and is under 40.
Well that is kind of like every owner. We are going hard on the minority interviews for a reason. It's just him covering his ass when he hires whitey.
His contract is up now.McClay would be the GM I'd imagine, or he'd leave.
Yeah I mean there are some legit minority candidates. But unless you're hiring Aaron Glenn most of these interviews are a farce. Even the TV personalities are starting to say the Rooney Rule is just embarrassing and that it's sort of run it's course. Doesn't help the NFL has doubled down and expanded it to try to make themselves look more DEI. It just shines a brighter light on the sham.Well that is kind of like every owner.
Hey if someone wants him as a GM bring on the draft picks. He is wasted anyway. His contract is up now.
His contract is up now.
Hoping? No not really.Yeah. Let's hope that maybe the one sane voice we have in the front office leaves.
Really? Could have sworn that I just read that.Hoping? No not really.
Discouraged by the team? Absolutely

That's fair. He is still a waste the way we are running things right now. But the extra picks don't mean much when you have a turd like Jerry making the picks instead of McClay.Really? Could have sworn that I just read that.
And we're all discouraged. But cutting off our nose to spite our face is pretty stupid.
Yeah. Let's hope that maybe the one sane voice we have in the front office leaves.
Still retarded. If you wish so much pain and misery on the team, why do you even waste your time remaining a fan? If something made me this miserable, I sure as fuck wouldn't continue to keep it in my life. He's doing just enough to let these hillbillies maintain the status quo, so yeah, I hope they lose him.
Edit: I want to be clear, I am of the mind that any equation (in the decision-making capacity) that includes the Jones family as one of the variables, will always equal failure. I don't think anything will change unless they bottom out.
So much wrong with that clip. So much.
