Would you rather they extended him?Releasing Elliott is a disgusting way to end this shit season.

Yeah exactly.Releasing Elliott is a disgusting way to end this shit season. It is like they are admitting that fucking mistake. No team will pick him up.
You know what I meant. This horseshit gaslighting about a playoff contender is insulting.Would you rather they extended him?![]()
Would be cool if we signed a guy off someone else's practice squad who has some potential for future years. Is dalvin cook still on the team? Haven't seen him in a while.
I agree. Like let's continue to pretend like the dude is valuable. When we all know he is trash. You know what I meant. This horseshit gaslighting about a playoff contender is insulting.
Oh fer fucks sake. It's a team playing lip service to a guy that has played here quite a while, and was a pretty important, popular player at one time. Don't take it so seriously. Words don't hurt. You know what I meant. This horseshit gaslighting about a playoff contender is insulting.
I don’t recall guys like Witten getting that kind of treatment. What other Cowboys were released to pursue their selfish playoff dream?
It's pretty obvious that bringing Elliott back, and probably playing him as much as they did early on, was a Jerry thing.
Fuck and you.
Or quite possibly a Prescott thing too. It's pretty obvious that bringing Elliott back, and probably playing him as much as they did early on, was a Jerry thing.
Wouldn't surprise me. It's a perfect example of friendship and loyalty totally blinding people to talent. They both wanted their buddy back. Even though it hurt the team.Or quite possibly a Prescott thing too.
Something to keep in mind with McCarthy.Wouldn't surprise me. It's a perfect example of friendship and loyalty totally blinding people to talent. They both wanted their buddy back. Even though it hurt the team.
Jerry is all about comfort. He won't take a chance on a guy he doesn't know because it makes him uncomfortable. For a guy who claims to have made a fortune by being a risk taker, he hasn't been a risk taker at coach for a long time. He would rather the coach he knows can win him 8+ games every season over a coach who could win the Superbowl or give him a 4 win season.Something to keep in mind with McCarthy.
All the players in Vegas wanted Pierce to be the full time HC and now they're about to get rid of him after a year. The problem is Jerry would rather sit out a year or two so he doesn't have to pay out the contract after firing the HC.
That's a big reason I think Mike will be gone. Jerry can't just give him a one or even two year contract, and he has to know everyone will want him fired at anything less than a deep playoff run. Which Jerry won't want to do with multiple years on the contract. Much easier and cheaper for him to give a new, different guy a few years.Something to keep in mind with McCarthy.
