But that shouldn't erase how great he was for so long.

@NoDak is right -- too many people here shit on our players when they're gone or late into their careers and it creates this distorted view of them that isn't accurate.

Dez Bryant is another player who falls into this category.

So I want nothing to do with a first round TE but the Penn State TE is damn fun to watch. Tyler Warren is a pretty legit looking TE.

If Penn State didn't get cute after going up 14-0, this game would have been over at halftime.

Momentum and emotions are a real thing in sports and Penn State allowed those things to become part of this game when they decided to go stupid after the quick lead.

I also think I'd take Tyler Warren over guys like Burden and Egbuka, if the idea is to add an explosive playmaker to the offense I think Warren is a better prospect than the WR's after Hunter and McMillan.

I'm not saying I'd take him at 12 or whatever but that's how much I dislike the other WR's (especially Burden).

I love that guy too.

I've said it all season -- this Penn State team has so many players that I think are going to make good pro players/guys I'd like seeing in a Cowboys uniform.

Carter, Warren, and Allen are at the top of that list for me. But Allars, Singleton, DDS and Reed are 4 more that I like.

They've all got a chance to be good NFL players.

Burden yes. Safer player in my opinion and his yac ability is damn good. Burden would scare the shit out of me to draft. You're gambling on things we never saw in college.

Egbuka I'm higher on. I think he is a damn good receiver who has been good for so long that he has sort of become a stale name. I think he could be a damn good addition to this offense.

I don't love this receiver class like in recent memory though. After Hunter, McMillan and Egbuka I'm not sure I like anyone else in the first 2 rounds.

Franklin is what I call an insecure head coach.

Not about his job security, but more his standing.
