I'd even be in favor of adding two RBs in the offseason.

Dowdle is solid but he is a dime a dozen RB. It would probably be best to add two cheaper backs than overpay Dowdle.

This is close to verbatim: "They've leaned in hard to the injury issues, but they've played better with the injuries, so how can that be an excuse?"

So if a coach is missing many of his best players including his QB and there's little to no drop off, he doesn't get credit for that?

The part he's missing is, if we're talking about the coaching staff...injuries aren't an excuse but the shitty roster building is and the new defensive scheme is.

Also, and this should go without saying, if there are flaws identified early in the season and the coaches identify and fix (relatively) those flaws mid season, that's good coaching.

I think even the biggest Dowdle supporter here has said that we need a RB. Just hope the front office knows that as well.
