My first chatter thread start of the season.

Today is definitely a day that I'll be using the VPN. Early games in my area are Falcons/Giants and Rams/Jets.

I like how after finally having one strong day passing the football, Jalen Hurts struts to the podium after the game asking, “so that’s what y’all wanted to see, huh?"

I look forward to him regress back to his normal self and a snarky Philly reporter flipping the question back in his direction.

I remember Michael Vick did a similar thing in 2006. He was only passing for about 160 ypg and everyone was starting to get on him for his limited passing ability. He finally had a great passing game and immediately starts up with the "I told you so's" during the postgame PC.

Don't know what the hell the Washington TE was doing there on 4th and 1. Just completely allowed the DE a free rush into the backfield.

I'm going to sound like my dad here, but I think I'd fire any OC who didn't go quick QB sneak on 4th and a foot. Why snap it three yards deep on a slow developing play when you literally need 15 inches for a first down? Plus they gave Philly forever to set up on defense before they snapped it. So damn stupid.

What you are describing is good old fashioned common sense. It frustrates me when I see coaches outsmart themselves because they'd rather get cute than go with a simple, yet highly-effective play.

It's not just that play. It's a terrible fourth down failure, then run defense like swiss cheese, then a fumble on the first play of the next drive.

Total team meltdown.
