Offseason prayer circle, everyone.

It is heartbreaking.

That said it is a bit weird to me (and sad) they all gravitate towards a kid. He is a young exciting player, but yet a full season out of him.

The odds are stacked against him now.

Gonna have to explain this one to me. I have no idea what this means.
It means they feel sorry for themselves a lot.

And just watch how they actually actively plan for the guy to contribute next year.

You got that from a kid raised in the social media era, posting about his surgery on social media?

And I was mainly asking about the 'they gravitate towards a kid' part. Still don't get it.

No big deal.

It’s where a bunch of people join hands, sit in a circle or do both and pray for someone or something.
The whole social media thing has taken the human touch element out of it, as now everyone can “circle around” and pray on social media. And it does tend to generate out of the 20-something crowd.
Now, if that’s not what Booze means, ignore this post and mark me down as I have no fucking clue either.

It’s not a complaint from Booze, either.

He tried the podcast. Next up are half naked Booze tweets to recruit the next gen of DCCers here.

So that means what most of us thought. 2026 return.
You know, I always wondered how much better we might have played in 2014 had Sean Lee been able to return late in the season and join us for the playoffs.

That 2014 squad was unexpectedly very good, but more importantly, they showed a clutch factor about them that had long been missing from the Dallas Cowboys since the 1990s.

That's why of all of our losses since turn of the century, it's that game at the Packers that hurts me the most because that was the ONE team that actually had the intangibles to make it to a SB.

Anyway, my point is, that team was clutch and that defense found a way to get late stops and force turnovers time and time again to seal wins. But by the time we got to January, Rolando McClain's effectiveness had worn off and he was a non-factor and it would have been nice to have another playmaker step up on defense to fill that void.

I always wondered what might have happened had Lee joined in late.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, even if this guy can't play until December of next year, that's a plus. You never know what position we might be in at that time and just how much his addition to the active roster could end up helping us.

I don't know if he can come back next year or if that will even matter, but what I take from that tweet is the good news that the damage wasn't as bad as the surgeon had feared.

I see the big issue as a guy who flies to the ball and looks to perform at 100% every play….now on 2 rebuilt knees.

He is probably my favorite player but man that just doesn’t bode well in general.

I mean as long as there isn't nerve damage he should be able to come back. Let's hope he eventually can return to the level we were seeing this year. Literally one of the few bright spots on defense this year.

At least by all indications his work ethic with rehab is top notch.

Absolutely. I’m hoping he comes back better than before. Just sucks he’s going to be on rebuilt knees which has a chance of slowing down that explosiveness that we’ve seen this season.

I don't think he stayed real healthy in college, either.

Hoffman will be a fixture on our OL for the next decade. Legendary.

They'll overpay him, his production will drop off and then we will complain about the contract and how we can't quite cut him yet without a drastic hit. That's my prediction.
