The moon landing hoax people are serious yet Armstrong and Aldrin never sued. I mean, that's a deliberate attack on their reputations.

But there aren't damages. Armstrong's and Aldrin's reputations are essentially still in tact. And, there is a higher bar for defamation against famous people.

I may have told this before (or maybe just to Cotton) but my dad tells the story that when he was an engineer at General Dynamics in those days, he and my mom went to the lake with another more aeronautical guy with the company and the guy swore that we did not have the technology to do that yet.

Now I don't believe that, because didn't we leave a mirror or some reflective something there that could be seen from Earth? But kind of interesting that someone in that industry in those days didn't think it was possible.

Yeah whole thing about radiation around the earth that people believe humans couldn't go through at the time.

Space stations don't go that far.

We’ve sent a lot of probes, satellites, etc with highly sophisticated and sensitive equipment onboard that survived those Van Allen belts and they not only survive but transmit data back to the earth through them, so I don’t see an issue with humans passing through them for short durations.

For over 400,000 contractors and government employees to keep a conspiracy like that under wraps to the point where even 50+ years later all anyone can provide is conjecture is impossible.

Just to be clear I agree.

But you wouldn't need 400,000 contractors on board. But even if it was only 100 people that knew. I have a hard time believing someone wouldn't have spoken out. But it's an amazing accomplishment when you think of the technology at the time. Technology has advanced an insane amount since 1969. Computers, communication technology and basically everything is light years ahead now.

I am highly skeptical that it was an inside job. It's very hard to believe.
There are a lot of inside things that make it confusing. But it was not some rando terrorist attack. There were too many things fucked up for it to roll like they would like.

Then how did WTC7 fall all on it's own?

I don't know, maybe. But I don't think my lack of understanding of the physics of all this means that I have to leap to such a nefarious conclusion as our own government did it.

I'm open to anything but until I see compelling and concrete evidence to the contrary I'm going to have to take what happened as exactly what it looks like. Islamic terrorism.

With a CIA operative as the planner?

Sounds good. ‘Murca.

I don't think I'd call it random. It's not surprising that any western country would be a target, and we'd be the biggest one.
