Ive given up hope. I think he is going to go too high for us anyways but its still fun to watch the numbers.
Remember the year we were debating Bijan Robinson with a pick in the 20's? I think this kid goes top 10.

I bet what will will be outcome of this outcome debacle will be more underhandedness than ever. The “ committee “guys will trade away more good teams to the lower limits to give the prior presumed strength teams a pass and they will keep the majority in the top 10.

I am confused.
Look at the teams that lost yesterday and where thy ranked in the playoff system. they were installed there by the same old system that has ranked the teams before and a majority are in the SEC. I’ll almost bet that the same will take a small drop but remain in the grouping for the playoffs. Tennessee as an example has been touted as the best offensive team in the college ranks. Couldn’t be further from the truth. They are an average team on offense. Alabama was touted to be number 1 but today who would say the could defeat the team that defeated them. You can go on and see that the system is obviously not close to being accurate. The rankings committee have done nothing more than deal the same cards again. Florida State was listed in the top 10 for at least 2 weeks and had 2 losses. And so on.

LT speaks the truth.

Top ranked SEC teams like Bama, Georgia, and Tennessee take a loss and only drop a few spots. But other top 25 teams that lose fall significantly more in the rankings.

Alabama and Tennessee in particular lost to unranked teams and they were barely punished. Hell, Oklahoma was punished more for losing to Tennessee who was ranked #5 at the time.

So yeah it definitely looks like there's a not so hidden agenda to keep certain teams within the top 12.

Saw a tweet earlier that said - Alabama better watch out. Only 3 more losses and they could be out of the playoff race.

Oh and Missouri lost to #25 Texas A&M on the road and was dropped 12 spots.

They're not a blue blood so their loss was actually held against them.

That's what it honestly feels like.

That was a thought I had yesterday -- this is where the 12 team playoff hurts the sport. The great thing about CFB is every week matters. Now it doesn't so much. As long as a team like Bama makes the final 12 -- which they always will -- that loss will barely matter.

It's only a fetus (mass of cells) when they want to abort it.

It's a child when the powers that be want to charge somebody with a crime.
I mean for me personally it's a child in every scenario. But then again, I don't like being a hypocrit.

Venables is going to have to make some significant changes to the OU medical and training staff after the season.

Every time a player gets injured it takes an excessive amount of time for that player to return to the field. No one ever returns on time or early.

Alabama's secondary is pretty shaky this year. I've noticed more busted coverage this year than I saw during any point of the Saban era.

South Carolina takes the lead in Tuscaloosa.

The voters have to drop Bama out of the top 12 if they lose another game to an unranked opponent. There's no way they can justify keeping them ranked that high.
