I induct myself. Here…have a hot dog on me!
With free hotdogs and chips. That's how you celebrate it...How exactly do you celebrate that sort of "honoring"?
That's like your company giving you a pizza party for exceeding expectation for the quarter or some shit. With free hotdogs and chips. That's how you celebrate it...
My friend was a pharmacist at CVS (Target) and he used to mock that stuff. They loved giving them pizza parties after a big quarter. Anger is probably an understatement. That's like your company giving you a pizza party for exceeding expectation for the quarter or some shit.![]()
This is more like you throwing your own party at work to celebrate the employee of the month award that you also gave yourself and inviting your coworkers to it.That's like your company giving you a pizza party for exceeding expectation for the quarter or some shit.![]()
Mel Kiper wants the NFL to outlaw the 2 high safety defense because teams are having a hard time with it now because defenders are so athletic. Thoughts?
Again, this guy has plenty in the tank left and absolutely has the the tactical prowess to still succeed in today's game.TikTok - Make Your Day

Belichick going over the Shannahan offense from Denver to the game on Sunday against the Saints. Has a panel with him. I only know Chad Ochocinco but there are 2 others.
I mean, it wasn't exactly revolutionary stuff he was saying. Not to be rude but all he did was repeat what we all know about Shanahan, his offense, and the connection between them and the Kubiak's.Again, this guy has plenty in the tank left and absolutely has the the tactical prowess to still succeed in today's game.
It's all going to come down to the staff he builds.
I bet he could actually use his knowledge to put up a decent fight, unlike most in the league right now including our own coaches.I mean, it wasn't exactly revolutionary stuff he was saying. I bet he could too. Just pointing out that he wasn't really showing that in his video. The only thing he said about stopping that offense was gap discipline is really important. Which it is and everyone on this board could probably tell you that. But getting your DE to actually have gap discipline in a game is a whole different ball game. When a run goes away from your DE they want to chase.I bet he could actually use his knowledge to put up a decent fight, unlike most in the league right now including our own coaches.
I think you're right about everything you just said, but I think the difference that a Belichick can make is that after that first or second drive? I don't see him just standing around on the sideline looking lost.I bet he could too. Just pointing out that he wasn't really showing that in his video. Perfect example was our game. I actually think we came out early and looked decent against the run. We have good gap discipline and people were doing their jobs. But they destroyed us in the passing game. As soon as everyone stopped thinking about their job and just started chasing plays, gap discipline went to shit and they destroyed us on the ground. NFL players seem to lose focus against that offense so quickly.
I doubt he could have done any better with the collection of bums we have at DT.I think you're right about everything you just said, but I think the difference that a Belichick can make is that after that first or second drive? I don't see him just standing around on the sideline looking lost.
I'm confident that he would have gathered the troops and tried to get them to regain that focus and light a fire under their asses. Does that mean that we would have instantly began stopping New Orleans? No, of course not.
But that in itself is a big improvement from what we've had around here for years now.
I honestly think part of that is just Zimmer's system is new. As soon as things went a little south it suddenly looked just like Quinn's defense. When players get tired or start to struggle they just sort of revert to what they know. What these guys know is what Quinn taught them for most of their careers. All the shit that Zimmer tried to imprint on these guys during a short period of time sort of flies out of their heads.I'm confident that he would have gathered the troops and tried to get them to regain that focus and light a fire under their asses.
