I hate to say it, but we deserve this.
Doesn't even make me angry anymore. I laughed with him.

Me too.Doesn't even make me angry anymore. I laughed with him.
In his defense, our GM is still learning on the job. This can't be emphasized enough. That Lance trade was awful and potentially cost us a good player at a position we desperately need instead of a dud third stringer.
And he don't have to ask permission to do things or some shit.In his defense, our GM is still learning on the job.
Nobody learns from his own fucking mistakes like Jerry, nobody.
Nobody faces the fucking man in the mirror like Jerry. And he don't have to ask permission to do things or some shit.
I don't know about Fat Mike's situation, but I sure would have loved to see how Dak would have responded this week after playing the why he did last Sunday WITHOUT having a new contract.

I mean he pointed out that Zeke did great in pass blocking. Plus he thought Rico had a good game.
To be totally fair, I listened to that and the host asked about Kareem Hunt reportedly trying out for KC today, and that seemed to be what Jerry meant when he said "I don't know what you're talking about there." Not the best reporting by Nick Harris.

I mean, it doesn't change that much... but still, that's the kind of thing that would make me mad if I were involved because it's not that hard to hear what actually happened. There's plenty of honest things to hate Jerry for without stretching things. Just a bad job by Harris IMO.I should have known.![]()
I don't even see the point of getting upset about anything Jerry says anyway. The guy is out of touch and clueless when it comes to players. He has no idea about what a good or bad RB is, hell he probably doesn't even know the names of all the players on the roster. He definitely doesn't know the names of RBs available for trade or on other teams practice squads. So you're not going to get an informed opinion from him anyway. Which is almost painful to me. If I was the owner of an NFL team and definitely a GM those are things I'd know forwards and backwards. Losing or having a shitty position group would really bother me. But that's not Jerry. To be totally fair, I listened to that and the host asked about Kareem Hunt reportedly trying out for KC today, and that seemed to be what Jerry meant when he said "I don't know what you're talking about there." Not the best reporting by Nick Harris.
Don't get me wrong though, that doesn't change the overall point that Jerry loves his RB room.I mean he pointed out that Zeke did great in pass blocking. Plus he thought Rico had a good game.
He also was asked about the run defense and said we already addressed that in the offseason. So look, he's already fixed it, it's just on the players to play better.![]()
Yeah, but they probably can't be honest and say, "Our backs suck, but this is what Jerry wanted."Ask that question of McCarthy or Will McClay and I'll value or get pissed off about their response. Those are the guys who really matter.
Yeah but we also know nothing will happen at RB unless one of them decides we need to do something at RB. Jerry isn't going to do anything on his own. Not unless it's trading for Trey Lance. Than he needs no prompting from them.Yeah, but they probably can't be honest and say, "Our backs suck, but this is what Jerry wanted."
