Our RB situation is so poor that it can't hurt to take a look.

That's how bad it is.
I know but I think he's just totally, um, cooked. @Cotton

To me we already have one used-up vet getting by on his name who won't play special teams. I wouldn't want another one.

He's good at throwing a medicine ball into a wall, though.

Deuce Vaughn with that hole gets more yards.
Yeah, but I'm also certain Zeke loses his balance on that cut back and falls down.

I think he'll come in and instantly be the best option over both Zeke and Rico.

I still want to see what Leupke gives us and it they can find a way to get Deuce on the field, I have no doubts he'll be effective.

Elliott beat Cook in every major category last season, just so everyone who thinks Cook was better knows.

I think it's pretty obvious that Cook was significantly impacted by the offseason shoulder surgery he had last year, whereas Elliott was generally 100% healthy.

He could just be completely cooked physically, but I'm guessing he'll be much better this season than last season considering his production in 2021 and 2022, where he was of course significantly better than Elliott.

Yup.... Plus Zeke got the opportunity to play with regularity whereas Cook did not.

They have both been on a steady decline and I don't really want either on the roster. But I'd probably say Cook has a better chance of sort of bouncing back. His 2022 season was pretty good. We would all take that year in a heart beat. Zeke's 2022 season on the other hand was pretty shitty, just like his 2023 and I don't see any bouncing back for a physical guy like him. Plus we all got a front row seat to watching Zeke's decline. I know there is no coming back. I don't know as much about Cook. I certainly haven't watched him as much.

But both are mistakes in my opinion. RB is all about young and fresh legs. I don't like the idea of going with old and worn out RBs.
