Secret service protection is provided for "major candidates", and drawing 3-4% is not what Homeland Security deems a "major candidate". Even Trump was mocking his poll numbers with his supporters.

And should DeSantis or Haley have gotten protection? As far as I'm concerned, yes. Again, don't say we can't afford it with all the other ways they waste our money.

The fact that DeSantis and Haley had better polling numbers than RFK yet still didn't get SS protection kind of kills your idea that he's being singled out, or want him to go broke paying for his own private protection.
