I agree. I don't trust the government to do anything competently, but this certainly seems within government purview, much like murder is. Especially since killing the exact same entity once the birth happens is literally murder.

It's classified as murder for them if the mother dies, too. (or if she is attacked and lives, but the child dies) No matter far how along she is in the pregnancy. I mentioned it above.
