I thought he was, mostly because he was more versatile. Stallone and Arnold were strictly action guys. Russell could do that and be funny.
If you look at his movies though he has had an excellent career, but he was never bigtime box office.

He was excellent in Death Proof...he needs something like that in a full on Tarantino movie to get an Oscar nod.

The original The Thing is still an alltimer for me...I loved Esacpe for New York as well.
The original Thing (From Another World) was a Howard Hawks picture from the '50s.

Yeah...I knew that was out there, but remembered how uninformed the people I post with are. Basically you are the smartest retard. Props.

Training Day is pretty great. American Psycho is another favorite of mine.

Mark me down as apparently one of the few people on the planet that thinks American Psycho is overrated as fuck.

Employee of the Month is excellent.

The Matt Dillon one, not the Dane Cook one.

I'm also in the minority in that I thought The Hangover 2 was better than the first one.

Not sure why, but I love the movie Secret Window with Johnny Depp. Maybe because he is dreamy.

I'm going to say that Braveheart does not stand the test of time for me.

Not sure what my favorite baseball movie is...I'd like a more realistic one to be honest, most are kind of fluff pieces.
Major League. Great cast, great movie.

Major League II... Not so much.

It does for me. I saw it on TV again just 2 weeks ago and even edited I got chills at times.
I get that way when Bill Murray gives his rousing speech in Stripes.
