It's funny but tell me why it is great then? Anyone that defends trash like this always seems to defend it by just claiming people who hate it are bigots, racist, sexist or whatever. But why not just defend it by talking about what is so great about it? You can't because I've watched the trailers and it looks like shit to me. No, I haven't watched any episodes of anything but the preview alone doesn't make me want to bother. It's very cartoonish looking and the casting isn't believable. And sure, tell me that none of that matters because it's Star Wars, which isn't realistic in the first place. Sure but that doesn't excuse things being awful.
Looks like Disney finally finished what Lucas started, killing the SW media franchise... and after the final season of Star Trek: Discovery, looks like that one is dead too.

It is not just Disney though. Paramount went all Wokey with Star Trek. Amazon did it to The Boys. When are these money backers going to start rejecting thsee stupid fucking scripts and casting choices? The screenwriters, directors and producers own this shit too.

The Boyz was shit when it started but your point stands. Very few shows are worth it anymore. The try to keep the cash cows going but ruin them in the end.

Honestly it won't stop until the viewers stop watching. That's hard to do for most people so the cycle will continue.

The sinister part is they usually do it in a series that is flailing anyways and never at the beginning. But if they bury the woke in episode 4, you can claim “success” off the first three normal ones.

Not breaking news to this crowd, but you know what is a pretty good old show? Magnum PI. I was aware of it back then, of course, but somehow as a kid I never really watched it. Been watching it some on the Roku and it's definitely worth it. Not as over the top corny like some shows from that day like (A-Team), and I didn't realize Magnum was such a likable character... for being the pimp daddy of the day, he doesn't act like it at all.

Never watched a full episode. Ditto Knight Rider, Airwolf, A-Team and similar dreck.
Knight Rider -- Same here. Well, maybe one or two, but don't remember anything about them.
Airwolf -- Not only did I not see an episode, I don't even know what it's about or who was on it.
A-Team -- Watched it a bunch. One of the few shows I saw live as a kid. Booze might ~ gulp ~ be right about you.

Yeah I never watched any of that shit. No Miami Vice or Rockford Files or anything else like that.

I watched pretty much all the sitcoms of that era but wasn't into the hour long dramas.
