What I want to know is how everyone in the Star Wars universe went from LBGTQ and multi-racial to to straight and white except for Lando in just a 100 years or so.

Doesn't really bother me either. People will watch it or they won't. Disney has been losing its ass recently with new movies. It will come back around for all of them. I would bet that one flops too.

Doesn't really bother me either. People will watch it or they won't. Disney has been losing its ass recently with new movies. It will come back around for all of them. I would bet that one flops too.

It is coming around when they half ass a project that probably was not all that good to begin with and they are poorly led. The Disney brand used to be a powerhouse. But not anymore.

I wasted a couple minutes of my life looking up reviews, etc. and the kids are all bashing the rating services themselves, claiming AI is writing the negative reviews (why?), etc. A bunch of them blame the negative reviews on anti-wokers while not realizing they're biased to like it more because it is woke.

The whole thing is stupid. Hey, here's a crazy idea, maybe people are giving it low ratings because it isn't very good.

That is the whole thing. This was a grotesque piece of bad writing and bad showmaking. When you are going to assume control over an entire mythology, you better respect it, not try to get in a gotcha.

A buddy of mine is a few years younger than me and a huge Star Wars guy. I told him when Disney bought the franchise that they saw it only as a cash cow and would pump out movies so often that there's no way they could live up to the standard. Didn't have to be Nostradamus to see they only wanted to milk the name to make money.

To me, Star Wars died years ago. It's no different from what happens in other industries when someone buys a company for the brand equity, cheapens the product to make money for a few years, and then the name means nothing anymore.

I'm still happy Disney bought Star wars.

Pumping out too much product too quickly isn't the problem because if doing it slowly helped quality then the prequels would have been masterpieces.

I thought the sequels were actually good other than the disastrous Last Jedi which I think fucked up what Episode VII was building.

And The Mandalorian is the best Star wars since the originals.

I like that Disney has been doing much more Star Wars content since Lucas was doing way too little.

The sole issue to me is the woke shit and they're rightfully receiving backlash for it.
