He's "just letting his body heal." As if these hardcore OTAs with no helmets or pads would put such a strain on him.

Meanwhile he goes around the world doing sumo and boxing.

Yeah when you start saying it's ok to do something because one of the best defensive players of all time did it, you're kind of thinking you're a bigger deal than you are. I've said it before the guy acts like he is Tyron Smith in his 9th year in the league as opposed to young pup who just finished his third NFL season. You're not a vet yet, acting like you've gotten all you can from the teams coaches already is getting a bit ahead of himself.
As Nick Saban would say, that LT talk was rat poison.

Next LT said:
I also asked Micah about his approach and what if others did that… he said some already do and said “some people get paid a whole lot of money to be here. I’m not one of them
WTF is this supposed to mean?

And now he mentions the money....

These contracts are starting to create a very toxic culture. Jerry and Stephen have fucked this up royally.
I think the cap in general has fucked football. Gone are the days where you could build anything else other than around a stud QB and expect to compete for championships.

Now all the money is invested in QB, WR to throw to, LT to protect blindside, and pass rushers to try to get to QB. All the rules are to protect offensive players, especially QB. It's all rather boring in a sense anymore.

Maybe he shouldn't practice the way his 240 lb body is used 17 or more times per year.
