Even if Mazi is a legit starting NT we have zero depth at DT. We need more guys there. I like Sweat. But I liked Mazi. So maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. I love the other Texas DT and Illinois DT more but my guess is they won't last. Sweat gives me vibes of Shaun Rogers. I like a dude like that in the middle. Even if it's two big dudes.

They would have really had to fuck up the Lance trade for this to happen. Without Lance? Absolutely I think we draft a QB. But you just traded for a dude that you think is young and has potential. You're not replacing him now unless the guy is a total disaster.

They probably thought they were being clever and would be able to flip Lance for a better pick down the road, but that road is coming to an end at this season's trade deadline.

Probably true, but they tend to double down on their mistakes. I don't see them taking another QB early in the draft unless out of nowhere they come up with a trade of Lance or Dak. Which I doubt happens.
