I see the Redskins got who is probably the best off the ball LB in FA and probably our biggest need.
I'm not going to hate, he is a good player who I would have been happy signing. I'm not sure I'd go as far as to say he is the best free agent LBer. He was a nobody the first 4 years of his career. He has been good the last couple years. But I don't see him as significantly better than some of the other LBers still available. I don't want to list those guys though because it implies we would sign any of them and we probably won't.

Does Drop Foot still play? He'd probably be in our price range.

I'll never understand their logic. It forces you to hit a bunch of home runs in the draft just to see roster improvement.
I don't even care if we don't sign anybody today. But it's not like there is hope for tomorrow or the day after. We literally will do nothing this week. That's the problem. You aren't even trying until all the good players are snatched up. It's not like you're trying right now and just missing out.

He isn't the best LB on the market, he's good but not elite. I would've been happy to get him for around 6-8/year, but 12?

No thanks.

We can get any number of guys who are as good or arguably better for less. We just won't of course.

A buddy of mine said on Facebook that being a Cowboys fan during free agency is like a bizarro kids birthday party.

Instead of a bunch of kids sitting around watching one kid opening presents like in a normal birthday party setting, the Cowboys are the one kid who has to sit and watch while the other 31 kids open their shiny new presents. :lol
