Hahaha... Carlson's face was hilarious when it came up to the question about Orban. And any hint that Putin was somehow bamboozled by Carlson is laughable. He was thinking about whether he should admit whether he promised Orban any territory or not. Since he knew he wasn't going to be called out on it if he lied, he did exactly that.

Putin brings up that Hitler invaded Poland in 1939 because it didn't want to "negotiate".

The fact that Putin does the same thing to Ukraine (was there any offer of "negotiation"?) he follows the Nazi leader's example in order to "de-nazify" Ukraine and Carlson doesn't call him out on it. The only way this interview could have been any softer is if Carlson gave him a backrub.

Any glowing opinion of Carlson's interviewing prowess is definitely in the minority.

On a normal interview setup where say you're interviewing Donald Trump sure. Hell even Joe Biden (Although he would probably just leave or pretend to sleep if you're hard on him) but in the case of going to Russia and interviewing Putin? I'd say he has a brass set of balls bigger than yours for asking the questions that he did ask. Hell I wouldn't do it. Putin literally isn't afraid to have people killed. We joke about Hilary but Putin actually does that shit. Or at least I absolutely believe he does. You really think arguing with Putin is an option? I think Carlson was using something referred to as tact. As the other attorney's probably know on here, sometimes you have to point things out without letting the person know you're calling them out. I'm not a Carlson guy by any means but I can give the guy credit for doing something I'd be scared shitless to do.

I do find it a bit suspicious that you lump all Republican's together in here as MAGA. I'd say pointing out how awful the left is, is a pretty normal thing for Republicans to do. Much like always trying to point out how awful the right is, is something a Democrat does. Which leads me to the belief that you aren't sitting in the middle or Republican. You're very clearly a Liberal or Democrat. Which is ok, I have no problems with that (Although I know some on here may disagree). Just own it, just like when you state facts that are proven wrong, it's ok to admit you're wrong. Or fell susceptible to the propaganda of the media. Anyone who remembers me from the first few iterations of this board knows I’m not a liberal, I may lean that way sometimes in that I’m pro-choice or that although I’m pro-law enforcement I don’t condone kicking the shit out of a guy who’s in handcuffs.

That said, when I mentioned in the past that I was for John Kasich in the past or anyone else in the Republican Party not named Trump it’s the old “we’re not going back to that” bullshit. I ask you: how have Trump and his little band of sycophants fared since 2018? Steady losses all over the country should tell you that MAGA is not the answer. Extremism in either party is insanity. I’d like to clean it out of the Republican Party so that people like MTG can go back to looking for Jewish space lasers and take some of the wackos like Gaets and Boebert with her. At the same time the democrats can get rid of AOC and her ilk. Then we can move on maybe but this villainizing the other half of the country as a whole shit has got to stop.
