I know he hasn't played in the NFL yet, but if Overshown comes back and his knee is holding him back, the Cowboys should consider firing their surgeon and/or rehab team.

Yeah no thank you. I don't care to rehash it. Dak sucked, the defense sucked, everyone sucked. I'm not going to pretend that changing one guy out fixes all that.

At times one player can make a difference. The Super Bowl produced a scenario last night when Mahomes decided to take over the plays that were critical in the KC victory. His mind set was obvious. He was going to make it happen. Hiis prior SB performances had the same circumstance. He stepped up when he had too.

And yet Mahomes scored 3 first half points. If it wasn't for his defense he isn't even in that game. Hell he loses if his special teams don't block an extra point.

One player makes a difference absolutely. But let's not pretend that Mahomes was out there doing it by himself. His defense was bailing him out. Mahomes throws an INT setting the 49ers up with field position that should be easy points. The 49ers gained -1 yards and had to punt.

3 of the first 4 possessions by the Chiefs were 3 and out. The exception was one big play and a fumble. He wasn't even moving the ball. But his defense kept him in the game. Complimentary football at its finest.

1. You don't run/cut or support your body weight (and someone elses) with your arm.
2. Throwing 5 yd. passes doesn't exactly stress the joint.

yeah, Mahomes true test will be longevity ala Brady. It will be very difficult to match Brady's tenure on top.
