Mahomes getting the well deserved knob slobberings today on ESPN, but I'm still not convinced he's the GOAT yet.

Nah, he’s nowhere near that yet. Definitely in the conversation but I don’t believe he’s in Brady type territory.

Kelce should be as well. You just don't do that shit.

49ers won the coin toss and elected to receive it. I didn't see how game went into OT, but that's a mistake, right?

First possession cannot win; Second possession can.

The coin toss loser has the advantage to go for win if 49ers kick FG or don't score.

If it was 4th and goal from within the 5 yard line, maybe even 8 yard line, I'm confident Andy Reid is going for the win. No way is he kicking ball back to 49ers for a second possession with FG to win.
I thought first possession CAN win. If it's a TD.

I tend to think that the opening OT TD seems rare enough that I'd rather get the ball second, but it seems like a psychological thing.

If I'm not incorrect about a TD on first possession wins, then you have to choose that. You have to have the chance to win that the other team doesn't get.

I don't see how you can't say that he is. Not saying that he is the GOAT but he deserves to be in the conversation. The only thing that is holding him back is something that he has no control over. Time.

That should be up to the coach. I'm sure Andy dealt with it at halftime and it showed. Multitude of ways to handle things and if Andy is fine with it then we all should be.

I think he's already top 5 for sure, maybe even top 2-3, but there's no argument against a QB who holds just about every record and has 7 Super Bowl wins.

I don't think Mahomes needs to get to 7 necessarily, 5 could do it depending on the circumstances and the rest of his career and he's certainly on track, but Brady is just way too far ahead right now in terms of everything.

Even Romo didn’t know the OT rules. Last night he commented that Purdy had 15 open for a TD and the SB win, but even if SF scored a TD the Chiefs still got their turn with the ball.
Did they change that? I thought TD in OT wins.

I understand it's the Super Bowl and every tiny thing will be scrutinized, but I get tired of pundits trying to blame coaches for every single thing. The Niners got deep in Chiefs territory but couldn't punch it in. The Chiefs did. Why, because they have the best QB in the game and the Niners don't. That's why KC won. Not because of some coin flip decision.

I think Purdy kinda shit the bed and showed what he is last night.

He's a good QB, but, he's "good," and that might not be any better than Dak or maybe even worse.

He wins playoff games because he has elite talent everwhere around him.

There is zero question I take his skill position talent over ours, Lamb is the only guy in the conversation, but their other guys are so much better than ours. And other than Parsons I take their D over ours too.

Romo was terrible last night. Like he hadn't prepared and this was a mid-season Colts - Jags game. Plus he seemed nervous even though this wasn't his first SB.

I like Romo as an announcer, but that was borderline embarrassing.

It hasn't been talked about a lot but that play where McDuffie blitzed and deflected Purdy's pass on 3rd and 4 with 2 minutes to play, is arguably one of the top 3 plays of the game.

If SF converts that 3rd down they can probably drain the clock and win the game on a FG.
