49ers Packers is the most frequent playoff matchup in history, now at 10 today. Amazingly, all 10 are recent, since 1995. Second most is Cowboys vs 49ers (9), vs Packers (9), vs Rams (9) which started in the 60s ad 70s.

Also interesting is the win streaks. With Favre, Packers won 4 of the first 5 games (TO catch) but the 49ers currently on 4-win streak against Aaron Rodgers.

The Ravens have had basically the same front office/organizational structure for the last 20+ years. That structure has built two separate Super Bowl winners in that time and look to have built a third group that will at least make the Super Bowl.

Three Super Bowl caliber teams all about 10 years apart with completely different rosters, all while being a consistent 10+ game winner most years in between those Super Bowls.

This isn't the Patriots catching lightning in a bottle with arguably the GOAT QB and HC joining forces for 20 years, and then going back to irrelevance, this is an organization that's consistently built winners with completely different players and QB's over 20+ years.
All while overcoming Steelers ref assistance.

I am sorry to say this, but Lamar Jackson comes off as one of the least intelligent players I have seen in a while.

Credit to the Ravens' staff, because they definitely bring out the finger paints.

They just tell him to go play street ball. And it is working for them.

He is basically what Vince Young was supposed to be.

What they've done is remarkable. From that 2000 all time defense, 2012 with Flacco, and now this elite defense. Very impressive. Kinda like the Niners' of the 80's, 90's, 2010-2013, and here they are again. Makes me think it just matters more to some organizations than others.

Vince Young? na. More like RG III.

Question is, who's best out of Cunningham, Michael Vick and Lamar Jackson?

Best? I would go with overall brain power.

Jackson is a street ball player. Cunningham was the smartest and a ridiculous athlete.

Vick was the same as Jackson, but far more hood.

They are 3-5 in the playoffs since then and we are 3-6, what are you talking about?
Aside from the two Super Bowls they've also been in two other AFCC's in the last 10-12 years, there's no comparison.

And that was all while never having an elite QB and going up against the likes or Brady, Manning, Roethlisberger and such.

I can't believe you're actually trying to argue this isn't an elite organization but go right ahead.

Some organizations are just more focused on winning, that's all there is to it.

Jimmy Johnson gave a perfect analysis of how to beat san Francisco. It’s exactly what I related a little while back. That’s how you neuter the Niners offense.

Cunningham was the softest, though. How he went soft in Philly and eventually lost his job to Rodney Peete and then whatever happened in Minnesota to Jeff George...

And others are focused on things like profit and relevancy.

I don't think the Ravens are more focused on winning. They just happen to have smart people around and very little if no nepotism infesting the organization.
