I'll give them credit for being resilient in the 2nd half of games. There's definitely some luck involved but if you give them a crack they're going to take advantage of it.

I think the biggest mistake the Bills made was jumping into that soft zone defense too early when all the Eagles needed was a FG to tie. There was ~1:47 left, the Eagles had 2 timeouts and one of the NFL's best kickers at their disposal. With that much time left you have to play it straight up with safety help over the top. But no way in hell do you just concede 30 yards of free field position for the sake of burning clock like the Bills did last night.
Yea they're a well coached team and have one of the better rosters in the league, although I don't think they're any better than us and I think they're behind SF. They maximize their opportunities but they're also a flawed team in some ways, evidenced by the fact that they've been pretty well outplayed these last two games.

You never know what happens in the playoffs but I don't think there's really anything separating us and them, besides luck, penalties and an unstoppable play that can get 1 yard at will.

I think SF is clearly ahead of them though and it'll show next week.

I didn't want to bring this up, but the Eagles have seemed to get a consistently beneficial whistle. It evened out a bit in the last few minutes of the game and OT but the officiating was significantly in their favor through at least the first 2-3 quarters.

And this seems to be a reoccurring theme.

It’s like the refs just try to keep them in striking distance when they’re being outplayed.

The Eagles have been outgained by 98 yards (Washington), 114 (Dallas), 98 (KC), and 127 (Buffalo) in their last 4 games, all while losing in many of those in the 4th quarter.

They're a good team but significant regression to the mean is going to happen eventually, whether in the next two games or in the playoffs.

They could easily be 0-4 in that stretch, and probably should have lost at least 3 of those.

I think they're much closer to a 6-5 team in reality than a 10-1 team

Yes, the reaper is coming for them and it can't come soon enough.

It seems to be working out well for the Eagles regardless. Just keep the game close enough and they find a way to pull it out in the end. Props to them for winning. I'd say clutch but some of these are just self inflicted with guys dropping balls, QB not in the same page as the receiver, or a QB making a dumb mistake stepping out of bounds needlessly. But they are wins and they count. The Eagles aren't making the same dumb mistakes.

They have a great OL and WRs, and I'm struggling to think of anywhere else they're great. DL I guess.

They have massive holes in their back 7 and at QB.

The sad thing is this is what's been happening for the Eagles every single week. It's beyond absurd and to the point of conspiracy theory.

Their pass rush is excellent also.

They're kind of feast or famine on defense, if the pass rush is dominating they look amazing but if they aren't getting home they give up big plays left and right because of their back 7.

Offensively it's all about their OL (and designed Hurts runs) controlling the flow of the game and their bullshit short yardage play being able to extend drives 95% of the time whereas other teams would punt in at least half of those situations.

But as you said, their time is coming, regression is inevitable, the bullshit that they're skating by on won't continue indefinitely.

Exactly, little of this has been their own doing, other than getting away with blatant penalties.

Oh by the way, they say in a mad world, only the mad are sane.

I was right all along about this loser.
