I don't understand the wisdom of having two unknowns compete. It's exactly the bullshit they tried last year and had to desperately bring in Maher to bail them out. Why do this again? It makes much more sense to sign a veteran to compete with the unproven guy.

Russell Wilson made some big time throws under pressure all night long.

He played really well.

He was at fault for a few of the 8-10 yard runs Carolina popped off in the 2nd/3rd. He also held up decently well other times and had a QB hit on the near sack he's referring to.

Overall, improving, but not where he needs to be yet. He won't be a starting caliber player this year but I'm still bullish on him long term.

Minnesota and Seattle losing was helpful in case we end up as a wild card so that we'd be matched up with whatever slop fest team wins the NFC South in the first round instead of SF/Philly as the 2 or Detroit as the 3.

Anyone still concerned about our running game?

Pollard only had around 60 yards, and is either going to pop thru a defense and get 6-8 yards, or he’s going to get stuffed, and struggle to get 1-2 yards. Doesn’t have the power to grind out 3-4 yards when he gets squarely hit and has lost that upper top speed gear since the injury. I was surprised how Carolina controlled him pretty well until they wore down in the 4th.

Obviously nothing can be done about it moving forward but it might be a problem as Dallas travels on the road coming up.
