Losses by the Beagles and SF opened the door to a partial redemption by the Cowboys on Monday night. Question is, are the Cowboys mentally ready to step through that door? And has McCarthy schemed anything more than his plain vanilla, predictable offense?

It feels like this is the crossroad of the season. A road win vs a quality opponent puts them back on track and keeps them in discussion of top NFC teams. A loss pretty much confirms that they're overrated and will likely struggle just to be a wildcard team.

I don’t have a sense of how this game’s gonna go at all. I feel like we usually do subpar in ‘revenge for ex-Cowboys’ games. On the other hand. I don’t see us getting whipped two weeks in a row, however, I think Herbert’s gonna have a big yardage day. We’re favored on the road, too.
