boozer, you don't like Devin Harper, do you? I think he makes it, either with or in place of Cox. He's smart and plays special teams and I think they like him.

I root for Bohanna but in my heart of hearts I don't think he makes it. Maybe, though. Do you trust Mazi to play NT early against starting interior NFL OLmen? He can't be getting blown yards out of the play like he has in preseason. And Hankins can't play every down to be sure. So do you cut your only other experienced NT in a year when you say improving your interior run defense is your top priority? So maybe you do keep Bohanna, at least for now. Tough call.

It is not that I like or dislike Harper. He's not terrible, just not memorable. I only consider Cox ahead of him because he was a higher draft pick and it seems they have invested more into him for some reason.

I put him there because of his size. We don't have anyone else with his dimensions in the deep depth group.

What do you think?

The problem isn't him being blown off the ball. That is not happening at least.

Sure it's happened a few times. Not every play or anything, but when he gets caught with a foot off the ground or something, it's bad.

I guess you're saying more that his bad technique lets him get turned. Of course that's bad, too.

Anyway, another factor is that many times they played him with Bohanna. So it looks like they might play him next to a NT, not always at NT itself.

After last night does Luepke clear waives? I can see the Eagles grabbing him.

The Eagles don’t typically carry a FB and he is not that great of a runner that you claim him based on that. Based on his comments about Lance, he thinks he will be here. I bet PS but they could squeeze him onto the 53.

If they're smart, he makes the 53. He'll never be a 1000 yard back, but he is a blue collar guy that will show up every week and put work in. Winning teams need these kinds of lunch pail guys. He isn't great at any given thing, but he is pretty damn good at everything required of a running back. He probably never give you that exciting 60 yard TD, but he'll give you that consistent 3, 5, 2, 8, 4, 12, etc... And he is a reliable weapon in the passing game, too.

All NDSU homerism aside, if it came down to only being able to keep one of him, Dowdle, or Davis, I'd take Leupke.

don’t need a fourth TE or a 6th safety. Keep Cox.

I would as well simply because he has real utility. He is okay for a Moose carry or reception here and there. Davis shouldn’t make it over him so it comes down to three RBs or a slash player. I would train his ass at LBer. I don’t see any reason he can’t be a useful player.

Does Jones have a place on the roster or no? I'm thinking no. Not worth waiting for.

Yep, it may not be entirely rational, but I really want a Kyle Juszczyk. I like the greater versatility an H back gives you, and I think it's an advantage to do things most other teams aren't doing.

Everyone says HL wouldn't be claimed, but why would McKeon be claimed? He's pretty spare and he's been around for a few years now, plus he's had a major injury.
