I thought he was a decent college QB but he was clearly JUST a college QB.

IIRC, he performed well at the combine and pro day (like damn near everyone does) and that created some hype that didn't match his actual game film.

Once the Viking got him in camp they quickly realized they made a huge mistake. He was a 3rd round pick who didn't even make the roster his rookie season. That's very rare.
