I get that the TV coverage is fucking horrible. And, it makes it almost unwatchable because of it.

But, what is the point of a chatter thread if it isn't handled as live?

We're at the tipping point. At this point, the livestream options now are solid enough (Bleacher Report, The Athletic) to go with them as the default. You shouldn't even be watching TV coverage anymore.

For this year, I'd say Rounds 1 & 2 still stick with TV, but Round 3 it's game on.

TV networks throw in all sorts of pomp and pageantry and commercials, why defend them?
