A Personal Update…

After a lot of tests, scans, uncertainty, and waiting for answers, I’ve received some difficult news: I’ve been diagnosed with cancer. Specifically of the jaw. It is Stage 4, but has not metastasized yet.

This is not the news anyone wants to hear, and there’s still a lot ahead of me. I’m taking things one step at a time and focusing on what I can control—getting the right treatment, staying positive, and doing everything I can to fight this.

I know there will be difficult days ahead, but I also know I don’t have to face them alone. The support, prayers, encouragement, and kindness from family and friends mean more to me than I can put into words.

I’ll share more as I know more. For now, I’m asking for your prayers, positive thoughts, and continued support as I begin this next chapter.

I’m ready to fight.

And man, you’ve got this. People at home who aren’t going to let you not do everything the doctors tell you to and every motherfucking one of us on this site throwing our will and prayers at this thing.

Thank you for sharing this with us. Each of us wants to be there for you, man. This site, Hell modern Cowboys fandom— you’ve made each far better today than either have a right to be.

Now please resume repeatedly kicking this thing in the nuts.

Please stay positive and never give up … Cancer is all too a familiar word in my house … my wife beat double breast cancer and 2 different types in each breast …she actually died and they brought her back in the hospital ….However … she’s been cancer free going on 4 years now …the road is long but you can win …I pray for a speedy recovery and you have the support of this group right here… Go get em Booze !!
