That was in no way set in stone. The Cowboys could have been tied for the second wildcard spot with a win on Monday had SF lost. They basically have no chance at a a wildcard now. It was meaningful that SF won. We have to win the division now.

You'd have to hope for the Niners to implode for the other.

But hey, gosh darn it, wish those 49ers hadn't won.
 
It was not out of the question that we could have gotten a WC. Philly, Az, and SF all had very losable games.

Sure, it you weren't paying attention to how these teams were playing.

Carolina and the 49ers are both playing excellent football and unless they just collapse, there is no chance of a wildcard.

Hell, I gave that shit up weeks ago.

SF has not been playing great and Car has NO 2 times still...so it was not unreasonable.
