Hola, VIP's.

Just a quick note to let you all know that I am looking to sell this site. Not for any angry reason at all... I swear. I just find myself spending less and less time here, and as an owner I need to be involved on a crazy level with the site (like I used to be.)

I don't have the time or the energy to run it anymore, and quite frankly I think there is someone who could run it much better than I could both from a marketing side of things as well as overall site appearance and upkeep.

I don't have a particular number in mind, I don't even know what it's worth if anything.

There are a few of you who have reached out to me in the past asking if I would sell... Now is your chance.

I would like to continue being a part of this site, just not as an owner.

If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM.
 
I wouldn't have the first clue how to run this stuff.

Could I buy it and just have booze be my little cabana boy taking care of things?

Whomever buys this I just ask 2 things.

1. Make Jiggyfly a mod.

2. Have him ban Smitty.

So I've been pondering this since I posted it, looking inside to see if it was something I really wanted to do. The response was more than I expected and there were some good offers. It may still be an option down the road. But I am thinking now that I would rather just keep the site and just make it a more enjoyable experience for myself and the rest of you.

I want to make it donation free if possible. That will require putting ads on the site and I don't really know how to go about doing that in an effective manner, so if there is anyone who wants to help with that (that knows what they are doing ~glances at Iamtdg, looks away quickly~), there could be a staff position for you. We've had ads before (google) but the money brought in from them was minimal, even when the site was very active back in the day.

I also want to market the site more effectively and get some new users. The more the merrier I say.

If anyone with some web knowledge wants to get in here at the ground level before the site hopefully grows and expands, send me a PM.

Reminded me of when someone would post about stepping down as a mod, only to “be talked out of it.”
 
It’s kind of a big responsibility to own/operate one of these boards.

Look at the bullshit Craig just went through a month ago.

I’m so glad I sold DCU. It was a headache, and the drama that comes with being the guy that everyone complains to, it was just a joy kill.

But yeah, EZ probably thought he was going to pay off his Cable College loans with the money he got from selling, but Then realized he would only receive enough to buy a new pair of wire strippers and thought better of it at that time.
