I can honestly say I have never seen anything like that. Ever.

Thibodeaux, Leal, Jordan Davis, Hutchinson, Karlaftis, Drake Jackson, Adam Anderson, Enagbare.

There's so much DL talent at the top of this draft, there's almost no way these guys can avoid taking one unless it's a conscious decision.

The Yellowjackets played Clemson tough, but my only takeaway is this is the worst Clemson team in a long time and that Geoff Collins is a loser.

But CB tho

Anytime I suggest taking a CB in the first I'm being 10000% sarcastic.
Whew. Okay. I was getting a little worried.

I am not ignorant to the importance of corners and I am softening on the stance given how ridiculous the passing game is allowed to control nearly every game. Study the top kids, of course but be reserved, it rarely carries forward since most come from big programs. I still think that if you are beyond the midpoint of the first round and you need a corner, pack it in. It is like drafting WRs down there, you have some fuzzy element mentally. Get your scouts into it, they can probably identify a guy that is stronger in subsequent rounds, if you are willing to overlook SPARQy-ness.

Yeah and I'm 100% with you on just draft a lineman. Dline, Oline, don't even care much about the position on either. I'm not against a corner. We would be worlds better with 2 Diggs at corner instead of Diggs and Brown. But then again Diggs wasn't a first rounder. So I certainly would leave corner as more of a backup option.

Yea I'm not against it in general but given how much we've invested lately and the state of the DL there's no way you can even consider it this year.

Two straight 2nd's, Wright in the 3rd and Lewis is a former 3 not too long ago, plus Brown who could still be around next year.

You just can't spend a 1 on the position right now unless it's a ridiculous, Lamb-like value.

I'm thinking the same thing about Clemson. I think they miss the CFB playoffs for the first time since 2014.

Their passing attack has been horrid vs their two FBS opponents. And it didn't look that great in the game vs SC State either.

They look like a team that'll lose at least 2 more games.

Alabama is playing my alma mater Mercer and its 8 year-old football program.

Only 21-0 after a quarter.
I had no idea you were a Bear.

Our neighbors sent two of their kids to Mercer, holy shit is it expensive!

One of the greatest rants ever. That up there with

1.they are what we thought they were
2. practice?!
Practice? I don't remember that one. Did you mean playoffs? (Colts coach, Jim Mora)
