He is not calling him out in any way, shape or form.

Saying the guy is what we thought he would be is not "calling him out". There is nothing there that he has failed to meet any expectations.

All there was in that apologetic enabling mess was that well, we fucked up taking him, he's trying hard, it's a process.

It is one thing to say he has not made an impact and leave it there. Parcells would have done that.

Garrett prefaced that saying "when we have given him chances". That is enabling that would make Wade Phillips smile.

I don't agree that he is, when he starts eliminating fines, refusing to bench players, saying the team is good as it is, etc, then he's on the same level.

I know you are tired of hearing it but saying "We have to get better" every week is actually a different message than "We're good enough."

He may not be much more effective with that message, but it is different, and that is important. Wade was a Campo-esque clown. It is important we have someone who does at least preach accountability.
