Cowboys vs Vikings | Week 9 Gameday Chatter Thread | 11/3/13

So the Chargers have 1st and goal inside the 1 at the end of the game to win and have two timeouts and run in first and throw two fades on 2nd and 3rd? They deserved to lose.

Sounds like a Garrett series.

The Chargers fucked up that game Cowboys-style. 1st and goal at the 1/2 yard line, and run it once with that little shit Woodhead and throw two horrendous passes.

With two time outs!!!!

The Raiders' gameplan seems to be snap the ball to Pryor and frick around.

The victory has really taken the vinegar and piss out of everyone. I was looking forward to teh debacel site maintenance

Still got the W.

It is hard to win. At home.

It's a process.

D'oh! I keep forgetting how hard it is to beat a horrible team at home. I mean, you have to have all three phases working:

Offense, defense and special teams

Yes. We ~voice cracking~ got all three phases involved.

Offense, defense, special teams. Nevermind the missed extra point had nothing to do with our guys.

Win. Win. Process.

Hard to win. Got the win.

Process.

It is fucking infuriating seeing Jerry Jones in that locker room.

Seattle losing to a bad team at home. Sure they'll win easily, but still.

I promise I am not making excuses for dropped passes, but is there a lighting issue in that Stadium, wherein the ball is difficult to locate?

51 pass attempts

9 rush attempts

In a game that was a one possession game for approx. 95% of the game.

They love making things harder on themselves.

Norm Hitzges:

Actually 58 pass and 8 rushes because of 3 sacks and 1 Romo scramble that was originally a pass play

Yep. I was hoping that he'd get fired so that we could hire him after the season. Looks like he saved his job though.

Rex is the classic coach that makes more out of his team than the talent should allow. We have the opposite right now.

I'd love Rex Ryan here.

Mike McCoy, derp.

I don't care what booze says, Scandrick had a good game today.

Rex might actually force Jerry to be the conservative, voice of reason; which is the primary reason I would think of hiring him.

Gruden might be another example, though I think he might end up at USC.

Thats interesting. Miles did complain about losing the ball in the lights against the Giants a few years ago. Then again other teams seam to do just fine.
