I think there is a chance and have said so for about 2 or 3 years now.

But I've also maintained that entire time that the only way it will happen is for the Cowboys to be terrible. 8-8 and just narrowly missing the playoffs is not going to force Jerry to make the kind of major change necessary to get things back on track.

That is exactly why I was 100% behind Dez's sideline blow up because for ONCE, someone on that team actually looked mad about choking a game away.

The other guys are pretty much numb to it which is why they don't really show any type of emotion. They're ok with it.

And we never seem to bring in veteran leaders who have won elsewhere.

I don't know the answer to this yet since I haven't had the time to look, but do we have anyone on the team that has a Super Bowl ring? I think Waters played on a Super Bowl team, but that was the Pats. That team is stacked with leaders.

Jerry only hired Parcells so he could get his deathstar..he won't hire a real coach because they wouldn't put up with his shenanigans

this team won't win because it has no head. it's everywhere and everything. garrett's over here. monte's over there. romo's slouching on the bench. dez is exploding nearby. ware is talking a big game but playing so small in crunch time. this team is loosey goosey in the extreme. it's a circus, and jerry is the ringleader, with no rings to show for it.

Zach Thomas was a horrible fit. Even he commented how he couldn't just come in here and trod on Bradie James' spot. I don't think he was on that top tier of leaders either.

As for Keef...well, we will always have his little speeches.

That article is pretty much how we've all felt for damn near a decade now.

If Skip is just now realizing that winning isn't that important to Jerry then he's a very slow learner.

I firmly believe that talent isn't the biggest problem with this team. We have talent that is comparable to most of the teams who have made trips to the Conference Championship games.

The Cowboys biggest problem is that no one fears losing. Jerry has created an atmosphere where mediocrity is accepted. The Cowboys' wishy-washy leaders (Romo, Witten, Garrett, & Ware) don't have the personality to overcome the atmosphere that Jerry has cultivated.

To hell with all the pep talks after crushing losses to Detroit and Denver. Sometimes it's good to play with a little fear. No one gets better or works harder if you're constantly telling them how good they are.

That's why I loved seeing Dez blow up. It was nice to see someone get pissed off about these frequent embarrassing losses. I prefer seeing that reaction than watching Romo hanging his head quietly on the bench.

If Jerry reacted like that instead of constantly pumping sunshine, the product on the field would be much better. But he's too stupid to realize that.

Besides everyone has got to be comfortable, ya know. Can't have anyone walking around on egg shells.

Zach was so close to the end of his career he wasn't going to say anything. It wasn't his team and he didn't have a huge stake in how it performed.
