You'll lose recruits based on the way you played on Saturday. USC was totally depleted, has no o-line or QB, and you still looked like shit against them. I wasn't impressed with either team. In fact, I was embarrassed for both of them.

If Rees doesn't get hurt ND wins going away. Yes, that Tommy Rees. Once Hendrix came in they couldn't get a first down and he's pretty much their 3rd stringer because Golson should be starting.

USC has scored over 30 points and had 500+ yards at least 3 times this year and yet ND handed them the ball 4 times inside ND territory, a couple near the 30, and they scored 0 points. I don't care who you are playing and how bad their offense is to do that is impressive. ND's defense played well.

They'll be 9-2 heading into Stanford game.

Please. You weren't doing a whole heck of a lot with Rees, either. Seriously, you played a beaten down and depleted USC team - at home - and let them hang around for the entire game. If USC had a speck of talent at the o-line or QB, you would've lost. In fact, USC's multiple holding penalties were bigger reasons for the loss than anything your team did. Be honest for a change. ND isn't a very good team, and any intelligent recruit who watched that game assuredly noticed that.

If you're 9-2 heading into the Stanford game, it's because your schedule is garbage up to that game. You play Air Force (1-6), Navy (3-3), Pitt (4-2), and BYU. Try playing a legitimate schedule.

Good point. His team played Central Michigan, Akron, UConn and a god awful Notre Dame team. Talk about playing a legitimate schedule. I haven't looked at any strength of schedule rankings, but I'm sure ND's isn't in the "not legitimate" area.

I've always defended ND's schedule. It's never been worse than University of Texas or Oklahoma or USC.

If you're not in the SEC you're not really killing it in the schedule department most years, and sometimes that depends on what division of the conference.

Tony, the problem with your "argument" is that I've criticized Michigan's schedule since day 1. So pointing out how bad my garbage schedule still pails in comparison to your annual avoidance of tough games. This season is no different. You team lacks the balls to join a conference, hand picks a bunch of average teams and cup cakes, 2 or 3 solid games, and calls it a day. So please stop trying to defend a bad schedule. I'm not defending Michigan's horrible schedule because I'm being intellectually honest.

Look at the strength of schedule rankings. ND is always up there whether you like it or not. I know you have conspiracy theories on these rankings and that Sagarin is biased, but it is what it is. Is it ND's fault that Michigan and USC suck? Who knew? I mean they have Michigan, Oklahoma, USC and Stanford and in any given year these teams could be National Title contenders. ASU, MSU and BYU are solid programs and not cakewalks by any means. Temple, Air Force and Navy are not good this year. I'm not saying anything about Pitt, we should beat them, but they give us trouble at their place for whatever reason.

And your not being "intellectually honest" when it comes to your views on ND.
 
You got Pwned by a .500 Pitt team? Horrid. My Wolverines may suck at o-line, but at least we're losing to teams with winning records.

The nerve of a Michigan fan talking shit after compiling a total of -69 rushing yards the last two weeks (What would Bo think?). Typical though. I could've came on here last week after the thrashing you took from Michigan St., but thought better of it. Michigan got crushed by Michigan St. Destroyed. Manhandled. But why would I talk trash when my team is struggling?

Obviously our QB sucks and cost us that game. Probably the Michigan game, too. Next year's the last ND-Michigan game for awhile and with Golson back ND wins going away in South Bend. The way it looks now ND made the smart move in keeping the superior Michigan St. on the schedule moving forward and dumping the inferior Michigan. Might as well keep playing the best team in Michigan moving forward. Dantonio has his program headed in the right direction. Hoke? Not so much.

And, being owned by the #1 ranked defense in the country is what it is. I knew that my o-line stunk long before the season started, so I'm not bitter about it. We are who we are: an above average team that is rebuilding. Just as I've said for months.

But hey, at least we didn't lose to the likes of Pitt. :laff:fistpump

Ha, your rebuild job is heading in the wrong direction it seems. 6-3 with 3 of those wins coming against Akron, UConn and Central Michigan. Props to Brady. And then 2-3 in an awful Big 10. Props again Brady. And you have an ass whooping against Ohio St. looming. Looks like you're headed the wrong way. 3rd year of a rebuild should be better than that, no? Listen, if you're not the best team in Michigan anymore you should just run away and hide at this point.

Say what you want, but we beat your ass twice, nearly beat you last year even with 6 turnovers, won a Sugar Bowl championship, and didn't lose to Pitt. And seeing that your team struggles against a bad B1G conference as well, you have little room to criticize.

Oh, did I mention that you lost to an unranked Pitt, AND got shit hammered by the same Michigan team that you're trying to criticize? Dude, face it, your team sucks.
 
And in case you've forgotten, this entire thread is dedicated to making fun of Notre Dame, not discussing the weaknesses of Michigan. So not only are you a bitter battered wife with a throbbing vagina, but an illiterate one as well.
