2020 Draft Weekend Chatter Thread...

I'd like to see us get a steal in the 4th, like Pride or Fotu

I would have preferred to trade up and take Madubuike, imo he's that much better

I mean I really like Madubuike too. Don't get me wrong. In the second round my DT's were Blacklock, Madubuike and then Gallimore. But I don't know that I viewed any of them as significantly better than the other. I think they all have a lot of talent and am just glad we grabbed one of them. Added bonus that we didn't have to give up picks to get Gallimore.

I like HaHa and Woods as a solid combo. Nothing special but both are good players. My big concern is that both of them are on the last years of their deals. So next year both starting safeties will be free agents with Wilson sort of our only safety.

I'm optimistic that Wilson will get a shot to start over Woods at SS this year.

Absolutely. Agree with all of it.

Yeah I'm glad a new coaching staff came in. Wilson looked really good last preseason and then got nothing. I was a big Woods fan when we drafted him. And he has provided good value for a pick that late but he hasn't really shown the ballhawking skills I thought he had from college.

Goodell
:lol

Leg up on the coffee table, moose knuckle to the cameras, sees long name and just mumbles. No more smile.

It's like the slumpbuster is trying to stay for breakfast and a conversation.

And I can't repeat this enough, one of our new db coaches is Wilsons old coach

I can't believe these shit TEs are going before Trautman. I bet when it's all said and done he has a better career than most of these guys.

I'm not really wanting a TE because I don't think we will use them as much this year. With Jarwin and Bell a third TE isn't going to see the field much. But just crazy to me how these TEs are going. Hell the Missouri TE is still there and that dude is an athletic freak.

:lol Adam Gase looked like he wanted to backhand his kids

Okay, I've moved to the "Goodell is wasted and not just tired" camp. :lol

Diggs isn't a perfect prospect, which is why I didn't want him at 17, but he's 6-1, 200+ with almost 33 inch arms, and what makes him really special is his ability to find the ball downfield and make a play on it.

The guy just makes plays on the ball downfield that most CBs don't or can't, and that's something we've needed at CB for who knows how long.

My favorite trait of his. He needs work to become more consistent but I like his tools.

Goodell's might be going isolation chamber delirious.

He's speaking to the fans on the TV, but it's obvious it's recorded and the fans don't see him.

Gallimore went where he should have gone, maybe towards the top of the range.

Madubuike was a steal at 71. He would have been fine at 51. Diggs was good value at 51 also.

I just value the lineman more.

Hopefully Gallimore surprises. At least he’s better than Collins was or will be.

Bradlee Anae, James Lynch, Curtis Weaver, Biadasz, Terrell Burgess, Troy Pride Jr., Fotu

That's my love list still on the board. I guess I should wait until the third round is over to make my list but oh well. Oh fuck it, give me Geno Stone, Go Hawks!
