Dak underthrows Jesse Holley and Holley gets tackled at midfield instead. Then we punt and then 49ers come back and win the game, propelling then to a Super Bowl win. Hillary Clinton is our President.
Pfft, Dak holds the ball and scrambles for the TD himself. Hillary is kidnapped by Putin and executed on live tv.

Except in the playoffs when it actually matters
Yep. That’s why is AV rating from pro football reference is 116 compared with 123 and 128 for Aikman and Staubach.

I’d have loved to have seen Romo play with any of the Doomsday defenses or the 1992 defense.

But Staubach is simply the best Cowboy player I’ve ever seen. The team always believed they had a chance to win behind him.

I think you need to at least reach a Conference Championship to qualify.

As a result, Craig Morton is #5 all-time.

Romo would have been broken already by the hits Aikman took in his rookie year.

I agree, Romo is #6

I'm disappointed not to see Steve Pelluer on that list.

Eli Manning has 3.0% INT despite leading the league in INTs three times.

That 1% means a lot.
Carson Wentz and Colin Kaepernick are similar to Prescott here. Just really conservative passers who don’t make mistakes.

Aaron Rodgers leads everyone with 1.4% (very impressive given his clutch production), but even he admits that’s his only lasting NFL legacy as he’ll never touch Brady, Manning, or Brees with other stats. He’s actually been accused of protecting that legacy at the detriment of the team by reigning it in in recent years.

The most impressive to me is Brady at 1.8 in spite of carrying his team offensively in a pass-first offense year after year. Peyton Manning at 2.7%, Brees 2.3%, and Favre 3.3%. Those guys took their shots downfield, especially Manning and Favre.

Staubach was 3.7%, Aikman 3.0%, and White and Meredith well over 4%, and that is probably related to the era and Aikman’s years surrounded by terrible supporting talent.

Are we pretending Bernie Kosar didn't carry this franchise to a Super Bowl?

Kosar before White, obvs.

Instead of scabs, Imagine what Kevin Sweeney could’ve done with that 1992 or Doomsday Defense.

I LOVE Danny White.

But give Romo, Landry, Drew Pearson, Cosbie, Dorsett, Tony Hill, Butch Johnson, Donovan, Rafferty, Scott, and a defense with Breunig, Jones, Martin, Walls, Thurman, Downs, and Randy White and I'm certain Romo gets at least as far.
