Fisher: Top 10 Football Mistakes On Jerry Jones' Cowboys 'Legal Pad'

there's only one mistake Jerry made that really matters: his tiff with jimmie. that is not only jerry's biggest, but probably all of sports' biggest mistake of all time.

Jimmy was trying to leave before that, though. Jimmy liked to jump from project to project and he wanted to go back to Florida. If Jerry hadn't been a dick it might have lasted two more years and we MIGHT have won 4 straight. But that's the most that could have happened. Jimmy would not have been coaching the Cowboys in the 2000s or anything like that.

Yep. Some folks like to forget that Johnson engineered his departure with Dallas. He wanted out for his dream to be in Florida again. Jones ego played right into his hands.

Rison, Hinton and a couple of picks or something like that for Jeff George?
