Throw Marino in there while you are at it.
I will simply say this then I am done with this topic. Without Romo Dallas would have been out of the game in the first quarter. His positive attributes to the team heavily outweighs the negative aspects. Dallas will be in the playoffs this season and it will be largely due to Romo.
I predict because of Romo we will in a win and in game in the final week of the season against Philly. Then he will commit the boneheaded mistake to cost us the game and we can keep having this same discussion until he finally retires.
A situationally intelligent non-spaz QB dumps that ball to Murray and still has two minutes left and a 3rd and 12.
Easy to say when the only other option is Orton. But the problem is that we have tied our cart to Romo and haven't attempted to find a viable replacement and likely won't in the near future either.
Lot of bad on that play.
Wide open Murray.
Smith bullied into the pocket. Frederick beaten by yet another swim move only to have a late reacting Leary save Romo at the last second. Which is probably what made Romo feel he had to get rid of it.
Plenty of blame on the OL for that play also.

You are switching topics.
WTH is Waters doing? He completely abandoned the inside of the OL. Even I could have eventually swim moved past Frederick to create pressure.
I think Marino was on a different level for his time.
